Bodybuilding is more than just a sport; it’s a lifestyle, a discipline, and a full-on commitment to personal growth. At PrepLife, we get it. We live it. And we’ve built this online community to support every bodybuilder’s journey—from prep to peak week, from the grind to the stage.
Promoting Shows & Events
If you’ve ever tried hunting down a full list of upcoming bodybuilding shows in the Philippines, you already know—it’s chaos. Info is scattered across Facebook posts, private groups, IG captions, random flyers, gym stories, and everywhere in between. That’s where PrepLife comes in. We do the dirty work of finding and sharing those shows so you don’t miss out on your next opportunity to compete, support, or spectate.
We put the shows and events on blast in our Instagram Stories but list just the shows on our official website. So, if there’s a show we haven’t shared yet on our website's calendar or an event we haven't posted about in an Instagram Story, tag us, text us, or DM us. We appreciate the help with updating the list and others in the bodybuilding community. Help us help the scene.
Real Reviews, Real Talk
We don’t just repost posts—we show up. We roll through events and give real-deal recaps: the vibe, the crowd, how the show was run, how the athletes were treated, and we always try to get a copy of the winner's list to share with you. But let's be honest: it's easier said than done when it comes to finding out who the organizer is for a specific event and tracking down their contact info. Many times, organizers may ignore our request for a list of winners—and we get it. It takes a huge amount of time, effort, support, and finances to put on a show. We totally understand why, after a show, many organizers go MIA on social media. They need a chance to not only celebrate their successful event but also take a breather. Unfortunately, not all organizers are as organized when it comes to keeping track of who actually wins. That’s sometimes why no list gets posted.
That said, we’re here to fill the gap. We don’t add fluff or hype just for hype’s sake. Our reviews aren't sponsored reviews; they're honest feedback from people who’ve been backstage, on stage, and in the trenches. We want to show you the real side of every event, and that includes sharing the winner's list when we can get our hands on it.
But here’s the kicker—it’s costly for us too. More often than not, we pay to attend events. Travel, food, time—all out of pocket. And we do it because we care about the scene and want to help it grow. But it’s real. So when you put us on your VIP list or extend an invite, it’s not just appreciated—it’s powerful. It helps us keep showing up, telling the story, and giving your event the attention it deserves. Hosting something? Let us know—we’ll do our best to pull up and show love.
Growing the Scene Together
Here’s the bigger picture: the more events we can promote, the more people we can reach. More competitors, more fans, more potential sponsors—more life for Philippine bodybuilding. Every post shared, every recap posted, every show listed contributes to building a stronger, louder, more connected community. This is how we grow. Together.
Building a Directory You Can Trust
We’re working on something long overdue: an online directory of trusted pros and legit services for bodybuilders in the Philippines—aka our Gym Bag. We’re talking posing coaches who actually coach, prep coaches who know what they’re doing, and suppliers for must-haves like waist trainers, comp suits, and other stage essentials. If it’s part of the journey, we want to help you find the best of the best. Check out the Gym Bag on our website to see what’s already in there, and if you’ve got a product or service we should know about, hit us up.
The Future of PrepLife
Let’s keep it real—talent isn’t always enough. Some athletes are full of potential but don’t have the backing, the gear, the coach, the funds, or the plug to really shine. That’s why we’re working on launching an athlete sponsorship program in the near future. The goal? To support standout competitors who have the drive but just need a little more behind them. We’re still laying the groundwork, but we’re excited about what’s coming.
