Beyond the Poses: Taguig Bodybuilding Show Prioritizes Growth

This past Saturday, Taguig flexed its muscle with the Mr. and Ms. Taguig bodybuilding competition. Like any show, there's always room for improvement, but what truly stole the spotlight wasn't the impressive lineup of athletes who graced the stage – it was what happened after the show.
Here at PrepLife Ph, a platform dedicated to Philippine’s fitness competitors and bodybuilding enthusiasts, we routinely follow the competitive bodybuilding scene, sharing results and stories with those within the bodybuilding community. We reached out to the event organizers for the Winner's List, as usual. But this time, the response surprised us.
"What can you say about the flow of the event? Any advice?"
This simple question from one of the organizers, Royal Danzk, was a first for PrepLife Ph. Here we were, expecting a list of winners, and instead, we were offered a chance to contribute.
This focus on improvement speaks volumes. A bodybuilding show isn't just about the physiques on display. It's a culmination of effort from athletes, organizers, stage crews, hosts, and sponsors. The organizers set the stage, literally and figuratively, for the entire event.
Royal Danzk's willingness to seek feedback highlights a refreshing commitment to growth. Sure, there were hiccups, like the lighting issues, but hiccups always happen. They’re inevitable. But when we mentioned this to this particular organizer, they responded with a sincere "thank you" for the honest feedback. This focus on improvement extends beyond Royal Danzk. Team Gym Dayo and FIF Philippines, the main organizers, deserve recognition for fostering this culture of feedback.
Much respect to all athletes who participated in this event. The line up of quality competitors always makes shows like this worth it and so inspiring. Despite the hiccup with the lighting though, you all looked amazing and all your hard work leading up to the show was much respected by those in the audience who were in awe.
Royal Danzk isn't a new name in the bodybuilding scene. Their custom competition suits are a familiar sight on countless stages. They've been a longstanding sponsor, and their sponsorship last year that awarded winning bikini competitors with custom suits is a testament to their dedication to the sport. Now, their foray into event organization, coupled with their desire for feedback, is a significant step forward.
This is how the bodybuilding community thrives – through continuous improvement, athlete support, and a genuine desire to put on the best show possible. Kudos to Royal Danzk and the entire team behind Mr. and Ms. Taguig for prioritizing not just the glitz of competition, but also the growth that comes from honest feedback.
And without much ado, here is the Winner's List from this awesome event...
